Contact Energy – Target Company Statement Release Date
Contact Energy Ltd intends to release the Target Company Statement relating to Origin Energy New Zealand Limited's
takeover offer to the New Zealand Stock Exchange at 0800 NZT on Monday, 27 September 2004.
The Target Company Statement will be available on the Contact Energy corporate website, www.mycontact.co.nz, shortly
thereafter.
Contact understands that Origin Energy will send its Offer and Contact’s Target Company Statement on 27 September 2004
to all Contact shareholders (other than Mission Energy Universal Holdings and Mission Energy Pacific Holdings) on the
share register as at 22 September 2004.
