Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, today announced that it will fly to the picturesque Indian Ocean islands of the Seychelles from January 2, 2005. The world's fastest-growing intercontinental airline will initially launch three non-stop flights a week to the Seychelles.

It will be the first addition to the Emirates network since Christchurch services were inaugurated in July.
