Kiwi Appointed To Multi Billion Dollar American Board
Office Products Depot chief executive, Rob MacGregor, has been appointed to the Management Board of Business Products Group International (BPGI) based in Washington, DC.
BPGI is a limited liability corporation which bands independent office product dealers - via their respective buying groups - under one umbrella. It is now the largest grouping of independent office product dealers with an annual turnover of US$12 billion. Its membership base consists of 19 buying groups including companies from Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States and the United Kingdom.
Auckland based Office Products Depot is New Zealand’s largest independent group in office stationery and equipment solutions and has just completed a strategic alliance with Office National Australia.
“The global office products community is enormous and New Zealand is just a tiny speck in comparison,” he says. “Being on the board allows me to raise awareness of issues affecting the New Zealand office products industry and make strategic decisions on how the group can expand globally.
“BPGI has enormous purchasing power which offers great opportunities for local dealers and customers. It is extremely exciting to be involved in such a forward-thinking organisation and I am looking forward to contributing and promoting New Zealand as a key player on the world office products stage.”
