Renowned Industry Figure Joins Harveys North Harbour
Auckland, 12th July 2004: Leading New Zealand property identity Ian Keightley has joined Harveys as co-owner of the North Harbour branch.
Keightley has a long and illustrious career in real estate, entering as a salesperson in 1981 and gaining exceptional knowledge of the industry through experience as a manager, branch owner, trainer, auctioneer, and industry consultant. More recently, he has been involved in sales coaching and mentoring as well as running successful sales seminars. He shares his new role and the helm at Harveys North Harbour with branch founder, Len Day.
After five years on the speaking circuit in both New Zealand and Australia, Keightley says he is now looking forward to staying put and cementing his new relationship with Harveys.
“The chance to develop Harveys North Harbour is an exciting opportunity that I am delighted to take up,” says Keightley. “The North Shore is a vast and growing market. There is a lot of business confidence in the area and I see massive amounts of potential growth and scope to build the branch further.”
According to Harveys’ chief executive, Ross Hunter, the partnership reaffirms Harveys’ position as the industry leader. “We’re extremely pleased to have Ian on board,” he says. “He is a proven entrepreneur who will no doubt contribute significantly to the development of both Harveys North Harbour and the expansion of the group as a whole.”
The announcement follows several new branch openings and key appointments made by the company after a ground-breaking year.
The Harveys North Harbour office is also in the process of moving to new state of the art premises on the corner of Rosedale and East Coast Roads.
“This is only the beginning of an exciting new direction for Harveys North Harbour,” says Keightley. “One that will see it set the trend for all others to follow.”
