World's First Aerosol Spray-On Make-Up Launches In New Zealand
A revolution in cosmetics, ERA FACE, the world's first and only aerosol spray-on make-up that takes two seconds to apply and results in an airbrush finish is now available in New Zealand.
Rachel Hunter, New Zealand’s own celebrity supermodel, has signed a three-year multimillion dollar deal to be the face of Classified Cosmetics, the company changing the face of beauty products with their patented line of ERA FACE products.
Brand Development Manager Liz Devaney, says, “Compact foundation is passé. With ERA FACE spray-on foundation Kiwi women will no longer need to use sponges or their fingertips to apply and blend their make-up.
"With a good shake and a two second spray, it’s now possible to achieve flawless foundation, concealer, lash primer and lip base all in one go. ERA FACE provides long-lasting, water-resistant colour in a refreshing, lightweight mist for a virtually flawless "airbrush" finish, without the need for a powder compact.
“It is a favourite with women of all ages internationally, including celebrities J.Lo and Jennifer Aniston. In fact, the Friends TV star wore ERA FACE on her wedding day, as it is renowned for not rubbing off against white clothing," says Ms Devaney.
The foundation can be used on both face and body to conceal freckles, moles, birthmarks, tattoos, varicose veins, stretchmarks, skin discolouration or scarring derived from burns or accidents.
ERA FACE replicates the air-brushing technique used by many professional make-up artists, but is easy to apply as it requires no complicated equipment, and comes in a take-home aerosol can similar to a hairspray canister.
It is good for the skin as it contains beneficial botanicals and antioxidants, and good for the environment as it uses no ozone depleting chemicals and is cruelty free.
Classified Cosmetics (www.classifiedcosmetics.com) expects that sales of ERA in New Zealand will reach more than $1.5 million in the first year.
ERA FACE comes in a 75 ml can and will retail for $95. It will be available through Life Pharmacies, selected Farmers and Department stores across New Zealand from May 24.
Rachel Hunter, the face of ERA, is scheduled to visit the country on a promotional tour in August. More details will follow soon.
