Established 16 years to bring healthy, natural skincare products to New Zealanders; wholly New Zealand owned private company. Largest New Zealand skincare and makeup brand, owned by New Zealanders. Factory located: Kerikeri, Northland, New Zealand. Key markets Korea (largest export market); UK, Australia, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia, USA and Germany. Products nearly 300 natural skincare and makeup products now produced around 60 pure and natural cosmetic products available in Living Nature Colours range launched in May 2004 (lipstick, mascara, foundations, blushers, pressed powders, eyeshadows, lip pencils, eye pencils, brushes and accessories).
The Living Nature Colours range will be appearing in leading health and beauty retail stores in New Zealand from May onwards, and will be released in other countries where Living Nature is represented from September onwards. 60 professional natural spa products available (Living Nature Spa Therapy), currently used by five star international hotels globally (including Carlisle Bay, in Antigua, Caribbean, founded by Gordon Campbell Bay founder of London’s OneAldwych); and the Hyatt (Auckland, New Zealand). very wide range of natural skincare products (cleansers, creams, moisturisers etc) available from retail outlets around the world, as well as from Living
Nature’s website www.livingnature.com range of professional products also available for hotel rooms, used by boutique and major hotels around the world such as OneAldwych (London) and the Hyatt Moscow.
Ingredients Built on unique formulations using knowledge and science built up from founding director Suzanne Hall’s (NZCS (chem.); MABThNZ) observation and testing of New Zealand plants.
All ingredients are derived from nature. Gathered in the wild from remote locations where possible. No synthetic parabens or synthetic preservatives; no grain based alcohols or artificial perfumes (other than the natural perfumes from the essential and flower oils); the makeup has no lead, arsenic, mercury or aluminium pigments; not tested on animals. No GM ingredients.
Made entirely of plant extracts and minerals extracted from the earth. Only beeswax and honey are derived from animals. Based around New Zealand’s unique plant ingredients such as manuka oil, flax gels (Maori: harakeke); New Zealand kelp; totara extracts. Also include essential oils, flower extracts (such as pansy, calendula); evening primrose; carrot oil; jojoba; nut oils, cocoa butters, evening primrose; aloe vera; rose hips and many more. Living Nature products also use unique New Zealand clay (halloysite) found only in Matauri Bay, Northland. Pigments used in the makeup are natural minerals, with zinc, iron and magnesium oxides, and titanium dioxide.

Packaging All Living Nature’s packaging is recyclable, and endeavours to use dioxin free papers and inks. Some Living Nature products are packaged in deep purple glass bottles to protect their bioactive ingredients and increase biophoton energy.
Tests Undertaken Flow cytometry and common assay testing undertaken on many ingredients to examine the effect on skin cells. Living Nature products are tested for preservative strength and meet the British Standard Preservative Tests criteria. Awards
