Big Increase In Rural And Lifestyle Property Sales
Barfoot and Thompson is celebrating the success of its rural division, with the total value of sales transacted under the company’s new ‘Country & Coastal’ brand up 79 percent in the year to March.
The value of the company’s Country & Coastal sales increased from $218 million in the year to March 2003 to $391 million in the year to March 2004. The total volume of sales is up 65 percent.
Rural Co-ordinator Michael Williams is delighted with the result which he believes reflects the new emphasis the company has put on this area of the market.
“Barfoot & Thompson Country & Coastal focuses on coastal, rural and lifestyle properties larger than 4500 m2, operating from 16 offices between Pukekohe and Kerikeri. Barfoot & Thompson recently added a Clevedon office to its network and will soon open a branch on Waiheke Island. Both will add further strength to the company’s Country & Coastal team.”
Director Peter Thompson says the performance of Barfoot & Thompson Country & Coastal over the past year has been outstanding. “I congratulate Michael and the team of more than 80 rural and lifestyle specialist salespeople who contributed to this result.”
