Carter Holt Harvey completes Tissue sale

On 12 May 2004 Carter Holt Harvey (CHH) advised the market that the agreement to sell its Tissue business and 50 per
cent interest in Sancella to Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget (SCA) had become unconditional.
CHH is pleased to advise it has successfully completed the sale of its Tissue business and 50 per cent interest in
Sancella to SCA, effective 19 May 2004.
