Great learning opportunities for all investors at 2004 Property & Investment Expo at Ellerslie
There’s something for everyone interested in learning more about investment in financial and property markets at the 2004 Property & Investment Expo says Tim Soper, the event manager from Hayley Media Limited.
"As well as having the opportunity to talk a wide range of exhibitors about their specific investment-oriented services and products, visitors to the 2004 Property & Investment Expo can attend as many of our keynote seminars and workshops as they wish during the two day event," says Mr Soper.
The 2004 Property & Investment Expo takes place on Friday May 28 and Saturday May 29 at the Ellerslie Convention Centre in Auckland’s Greenlane. This is the first time an expo of its type has been run in New Zealand and it’s set to provide investors with a wealth of information.
"People looking to establish an investment portfolio for the first time are going to find it’s worth listening to a number of our speakers for independent advice to help them in their portfolio planning. For example, Tim Jones, a barrister and solicitor with considerable experience in property law is speaking on Saturday morning on the topic of ‘purchasing your investment property – the 10 most frequently asked questions’ in relation to legal matters. Dan McEwan, founder and director of the Investors’ Forum, will cover the seven key points of astute property investment in his workshop on Friday afternoon, and Peter Flannery of Wise Planning talks on the topic of ‘how to make your money work for you’.
"Investors with an established portfolio may wish to review the ratio of property to other forms of investment and are sure to find value in Mark Withers’ seminar on key tax issues for property investors on Friday afternoon as well as ‘investing in waterfront property’ from John Greenwood of Bayleys Realty Group. Providing an independent, authoritative view on property matters is Professor Bob Hargreaves, head of the real estate analysis unit at Massey University, providing his thoughts on where the residential property investment market may head in the future during his Saturday morning session.
Keynote seminars and workshops will run from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm on both days of the expo - Friday 28 May and Saturday 29 May - and are free to expo attendees as part of the entrance ticket costs.
"More information and an full timetable of the keynote speakers and workshops is available on our website www.propertyandinvestmentexpo.co.nz," says Mr Soper.
The 2004 Property & Investment Expo is supported by several independent industry organisations, including the Financial Planners and Insurance Advisers Association (FPIA) and the Real Estate Institute.
