Leila MacDonald First Again for Barfoot & Thompson
Multi million dollar property specialist Leila MacDonald is Barfoot & Thompson’s number one salesperson for the second a row, notching up an average sale price of almost $1.9 million.
Leila works out of Barfoot & Thompson’s Remuera office, specialising in Auckland’s Eastern suburbs. She has a 13 year track record with the company and for all of that time she has never been ranked lower than number two. She is believed to be the most successful residential real estate salesperson in the country.
For the year to March 31, Leila made 75 sales, 67 were her own listings plus she sold another eight properties listed by other salespeople. Her average sale price of $1.87 million is particularly impressive when compared with the average sale price of $1.1 million for the Remuera branch as a whole.
In congratulating her, Director Peter Thompson said, “It’s been another exceptional year for Leila. Not only does she maintain an extraordinary level of activity, she looks after a client base with very high service expectations. The fact that she consistently produces such outstanding results shows her commitment to client service. As a company, we are very proud of her and her achievements.”
Remuera branch manager Jeff Cate says, “Leila has built on her incredible result last year with another outstanding performance this year. Leila’s clients have extremely high expectations of her and she consistently delivers.”
The top spot for Barfoot & Thompson was tightly contested this year, with a very small gap between the number one and two positions. Of the company’s top 25 salespeople 12 were born in New Zealand, six in China, three in Malaysia and one each in Lebanon, Taiwan, Netherlands and Australia.
