Dr Brash to open new rental car venture, and witness signing of international agreement.
Abell Rentals and Scotties Rent-A-Car are pleased to announce their merger and official opening and the formal signing
of our international affiliate partnership agreement with Advantage Rent-A-Car USA.
Dr Don Brash, the Leader of the Opposition will officially open our new combined location at 189 Blenheim Road at
12.30pm today, Tuesday 20th April 2004.

Managing Director of Scotties Rent-A-Car. "After trading part time for a few years in Gisborne with 8 cars, we relocated
to Christchurch in 1995 with 16 cars."

"In November 2003 Scotties Rent-A-Car purchased Abell Rentals to meet our continued growth in rental demand from
tourists and locals, and to provide an extensive range of mini buses, courier vans and light trucks" said Mr Scott. "Our
new 189 Blenheim Road site enables us to cater for the increased demand in business through our affiliation with
Advantage Rent-A-Car USA."
