Barfoot & Thompson Building Strong Team For New Waiheke Island Branch
Barfoot & Thompson is pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Clarkson as Branch Manager of its new Waiheke Island branch which will open for business in Oneroa in May.
Brett is both a Waiheke Island resident and experienced real estate salesperson. He joins the Barfoot & Thompson team with 15 years real estate experience in both Auckland and Christchurch and is currently putting together a strong sales team with the aim of making Barfoot & Thompson the agency of choice on the island.
“I love living on Waiheke Island because of the diversity of the population and community atmosphere. We have a great mix of older residents who remember when there were only shingle roads and newer arrivals, often commuters, who have chosen Waiheke Island for its lifestyle and as a secure place to raise their families. We will be offering a service that reflects the different needs of the Waiheke Island population.”
“I am very proud to be leading the first Barfoot & Thompson team on Waiheke Island and look forward to assembling a group of like minded professionals.”
Brett is also looking forward to his team becoming involved in supporting the Waiheke Island community. “Community involvement is an integral part of the Barfoot & Thompson philosophy and I’m looking forward to making a difference in that area.”
Barfoot & Thompson Director Peter Thompson says, “The firm made a strategic decision to enter the Waiheke Island market some time ago and has been waiting for the right location to become available.”
“There has been incredible growth there in real estate sector in recent years and as market leader we want to make our service, experience, and extensive network of contacts available to both Waiheke Islanders and the increasing number of mainlanders who have property interests on the island.”
