In the new role based in Palmerston North, Chris Green will be responsible for the management and implementation of the Company’s sales and marketing strategies for cheeses, ice cream and beverages.
Kapiti Fine Food was established as an independent player in the dairy-based food sector in October 2003 through the merger of Kapiti Cheese Ltd and United Milk ltd.

“Chris brings a wealth of experience to the new role. He will have responsibility for the maintenance and development of the highly valued Kapiti brand which is so widely respected in the hospitality industry, as well as being a household name in cheeses.
“This new position signals an important progression for the Company in terms of its consolidation and growth aspiration across it core products areas. It also reflects our determination to maintain our customer focus and continue the heritage of product innovation which has been a hallmark of the cheeses business since it was founded in 1984.
“Chris has a strong background in sales and marketing, and the practical skills and experience to drive success in this area,” he said.
Chris Green will join the business with over eight years experience in sales, account management and marketing in FMCG and service industries. His FMCG experience includes periods with the beverage company, Coca-Cola Amatil (NZ) Ltd, and petroleum retailer, Caltex NZ.
