National Historic Heritage Workshop Call for Papers
Papers are being sought for this year’s National Historic Heritage Workshop to be held on 3 - 4 August in Wellington.
This year The Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand (IPENZ) is joining with the Department of Conservation
and the NZ Historic Places Trust to hold the workshop, which has a special focus on engineering heritage in Australia
and New Zealand.
There will be three broad programme headings: Recognising Heritage; Preserving Heritage; and Promoting Heritage. The
deadline for papers and presentations is Saturday, 10 April 2004.
Anyone interested in engineering heritage, including engineers, other heritage agencies, council planners, consultants,
and some community group representatives, are welcome to contribute to the workshop that covers most aspects of heritage
management.
