Ports of Auckland appoints Chief Financial Officer
Mr Wayne Thompson has joined New Zealand’s biggest and busiest port company - Ports of Auckland - as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
As CFO, Wayne’s role is to bring a strong commercial and financial analysis and focus to existing activities, development opportunities and other initiatives.
Before joining Ports of Auckland, Wayne was Chief Financial Officer for Owens Group Limited, a publicly listed freight and logistics company. Prior to that, Wayne spent 13 years with Comalco Group, based in New Zealand and Australia. He was Company Secretary for Comalco New Zealand Limited at the time of leaving.
Wayne is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
