Feilding District Relief Account tops $70,000

Funds donated to Feilding and District Relief Trust Account tops $70,000
Over $45,000 has so far been donated by the public to the Feilding and District Relief Trust Account at Bank of New Zealand branches throughout the country.
Close to $25,000 has been donated today alone.
“Yesterday over 250 people deposited money ranging from $4 to $2,000. All together, over $70,000 has been donated to the fund since the appeal account began Wednesday 18 February 2004,” says Ian Walsh, general manager for agribusiness financial services.
Bank of New Zealand contributed $25,000 to the Feilding and District Relief Trust Account yesterday.
The funds raised will be placed in a trust account and distributed by a committee set up by the Manawatu District Council.
