Interest-Free Community Bank Promotion - Eva Stenius National Schedule
The Swedish JAK Bank www.jak.se is a unique community banking initiative. The bank neither charges interest on its loans, nor pays interest on deposits.
The presentations will have wide appeal beyond banking, and be of interest to people working in social enterprise, co-operatives, community business, micro-credit, work and income futures, and enterprise development to name but a few.
Ms Stenius will also conduct workshops for those particularly interested in exploring the JAK model and its applicability in the NZ context. From this we would envisage a project group who would carry out a funded feasibility study.
We are also happy to hear from community and government agencies who may wish to meet with Eva on specific areas of interest to their organisation.
