New Zealand On-Line Royalty-Free Sound Effects Shop Goes Live Today.
Gisborne based audio production company Castles Music Productions announces the opening of their new online royalty-free sound effect today at www.CastlesMusic.com.
Castles Music Productions (CMP) is noted for creating the music and sound effects for the hit computer game Rugby League (known as Stacey Jones Rugby League in New Zealand) released on 12 December 2003. CMP¹s new on-line audio sound effects shop and library currently offers a range of affordable sound byte sets with royalty free music to be added later in 2004.
Says Simon Castles, Director of CMP. ³It is very easy to download so-called Free sound effects from the web. However, these days we are seeing heavy penalties imposed by copyright protection agencies for copyright infringement. Companies who use these sounds in their projects are getting increasingly nervous about where their sounds come from² He continues, ³our sound effects are affordable, legal and royalty free so we feel they offer a safe bet for producers seeking a unique and legal flavour for their projects.²
The sound library is initially aimed at developers of websites and online games and will grow to offer a variety of regularly requested sound effects for use in computer games, TV, film and radio programs.
Included in the on-line shop are audio effects unique to New Zealand such as native bird sounds formatted for use in menu screens or Flash presentations.
Castles Music Productions - total audio development service to the audio/visual community.
