Greens Anti Growth Blackmail

Greens Anti Growth Blackmail
Not content with abiding by the law of the Resource Management Act, the Greens have resorted to blackmail to delay the Mt Roskill $139m extension which is a critical step in the completion of Auckland's roading network.
Despite the Mt Roskill extension having run the entire costly gambit of all RMA processes and appeals, the Greens have, without respect for that rigorous process, thrown the political blackmail spanner in the works.
The Greens are opposed to any form of economic growth that uses non renewable resources and as such are content to see New Zealanders' standard of living, which includes such things as public health care and depends on good infrastructure, fall further behind the rest of the developed world.
On average, Australians earn $250 per week more than New Zealanders and much of the blame for the fact that New Zealand has performed so badly can be laid at the door of the New Zealand Green Party philosophies that oppose growth and its process business.
