Tune in to the best Christmas Holiday Family Programming
The magic and fun entertainment of the Disney Channel comes to life this Christmas when the leading kids and family channel debuts on SKY Digital channel 40 on Wednesday, December 24 at 6:30pm, featuring a festive programming line-up to entertain and delight the whole family this holiday season.
The arrival of Disney Channel on SKY means subscribers will now have an even wider variety and choice of quality family viewing. Disney Channel will be available to SKY Digital subscribers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as part of the basic start-up package.
First on Disney Channel, viewers can experience the spectacular Carols in the Domain event (6:30pm), featuring special performances of all your favourite Christmas carols. Next up on Christmas Eve, is the Wonderful World of Disney movie The Santa Clause at 8pm starring comedic talent Tim Allen. This is followed by a host of Christmas-themed episodes of Disney Channel shows and cartoons.
The festive spirit continues on Christmas Day, when Disney Channel delivers a sack-full of wonderful Christmas-themed shows like Muppet Family Christmas (11:15am) and Mickey's Christmas Carol (12:30pm). Christmas Day also delivers Wonderful World of Disney movies including Beauty and the Beast: An Enchanted Christmas (4pm), Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year (5:30pm), A Bug's Life (6:30pm) and the much-loved classic Mary Poppins (8pm).

"Only on Disney Channel can you see more than 30 family movies a month, including exclusive blockbuster Disney animated and live-action movies, some of the best local and overseas series for kids and more than 33 hours a week of dedicated pre-school programming. It's a quality mix of programming with no advertising, that the whole family can enjoy," he said.
