Westpac Announces The Launch Of Book, Woman2woman
And Its Commitment To Women Customers
Westpac is delighted to announce the launch of Woman2Woman, an exciting new book that celebrates women in business. Woman2Woman is co-authored by June McCabe, Director of Corporate Affairs at Westpac. The book offers inspiration to women through success stories of others across a range of professions and sectors. It contains case studies, tips and resources to help New Zealand women achieve their dreams.
Over 70 New Zealand women share their career and business experiences, offering motivational tips for success, inspiration for achievement of personal and career goals and advice on work/life balance. Women come from many backgrounds, political, professinal, entrepreneurial and from business.
Through the book, authors June McCabe and Amanda Ellis show women how to analyse their working style, goals and values. Armed with this information and the practical tools in this book, all women can, as Prime Minister Helen Clark says in her preface to the book, ‘see what’s possible with will, desire, and a belief in yourself.’
June McCabe says, “We are very excited about the launch of Woman2Woman and see it as the catalyst to Westpac’s future alliance with women in business.”
The launch of Woman2Woman just touches the surface of Westpac’s dedication to women in careers and business. Westpac is focused on being the preferred bank for women and demonstrates its commitment by offering knowledge, expertise and services to support women’s financial needs. Westpac has a team of Women Champions throughout New Zealand, who will focus on women customers.
Our research shows that up to 82 per cent of women make financial decisions in a household. It therefore makes sense for us to focus on women customers through dedicated people.
The book is available through Westpac on 0800 400 600 or you can order a copy online through www.w2w.co.nz for $29.95.
