New Zealand Chambers Of Commerce Policy Launch “Constraining – But Not Slashing – Government Expenditure”
New Zealand Chambers of Commerce & Industry will be launching the last in their 2003 series of policy releases this Thursday 18 December.
The Chambers have identified five key policy areas where New Zealand must lift its game over the next 10-15 years, in order to get us back into the top half of the world’s developed economies.
Our latest policy document will set out how we have the opportunity to hold central and local government to 1% growth each year, so we can reduce governments’ relative share of the economy from 40% to 30% over the next decade.
Wellington Chamber CEO Philip Lewin will be joined at this launch by Michael Barnett (Auckland), Peter Townsend (Canterbury) and John Christie (Otago).
Date: Thursday 18 December Time: 12 noon Venue: Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce, Level 9, 109 Featherston Street Wellington
