President appointed
Turnaround Management Association - New Zealand (TMA)
On the 26th November at the TMA annual AGM in Auckland, Denis Orme Chief Executive of Bartercard New Zealand, was appointed the new President for three years.
Bruce McCallum, former President of TMA stated;
"This is an exciting time for TMA, given the current initiative of Government in respect to introducing new legislation based on business rehabilitation. TMA is the most appropriate organisation to assist companies in this regard".
Once appointed, Mr Orme announced his vision for 2004;
"To have TMA members in New Zealand as the first point of consultation for troubled and under performing business"
He further stated "TMA continues to deliver high-quality education and networking opportunities for New Zealand businesses and we aim to increase the knowledge of TMA and continue to build a solid membership".
