Electric Fence Interference Brochure Positive Step
The Five-Step for Electric Fence Interference is a useful tool for farmers experiencing Internet connection problems, says Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Inc) President Tom Lambie.
A working group, convened by the Ministry of Economic Development, and including representatives from Federated Farmers of New Zealand, the electric fence industry and Telecom has prepared a Five-Step Electric Fence Check that describes in a simple to follow format how to identify problems and what to do to reduce interference.
"It is pleasing to see Government working with those at the grassroots to ensure a sensible and practical solution to this problem, rather than imposing legislation, said Mr Lambie.
"Federated Farmers look forward to all New Zealanders being able to access world class infrastructure to enable our participation in the global village."
