PeopleSoft Expands Alliance Base with Datacom
Services and technical support company, Datacom today joined PeopleSoft’s Consulting Alliance Partnership programme and will provide post-implementation support to PeopleSoft’s expanding customer base in New Zealand.
By focusing clearly on post-implementation support this service will complement the implementation and consulting work currently undertaken by PeopleSoft and its implementation partners in New Zealand.
According to David Webster, Managing Director PeopleSoft Australia and New Zealand, the alliance signals a further strengthening of the relationship with Datacom, which has been providing facilities management services for PeopleSoft solutions for the past three years.
“As the number of PeopleSoft customers in New Zealand increases, so does the demand for superior post-implementation support. As a Consulting Alliance Partner dedicated to this area Datacom will assist these customers by providing day-to-day platform administration, HelpDesk, monitoring, fault handling, bug fixes, patching, development, tuning, database administration, and change control.”
“We are pleased to add Datacom to our stable of partners in New Zealand. PeopleSoft supplies world-class applications to facilitate the real-time enterprise and through our relationship with Datacom, our customers will continue to receive world-class post-implementation support from a dedicated provider,” says Webster.
Datacom established a PeopleSoft Centre of Excellence late last year and has more than 30 senior consultants based in Auckland and Wellington.
Martin Ashwin, Manager of Datacom’s PeopleSoft Centre of Excellence says that Datacom has over 25 years experience in administering application and database systems across most industry sectors.
“This partnership formalises our relationship with PeopleSoft and provides access to skills and resources to support our system management services to existing PeopleSoft customers.”
Through its partner programmes PeopleSoft works with top providers in their respective industries to offer customers customised implementation and support to meet their needs.
