Electricity Demand Update – Savings to 8.7%

Electricity Demand Update
The conservation savings for yesterday (Monday 9th June) fell to 8.7% this is due to cool southerlies heading up the country, with the total demand usage at 100.4 GWh in comparison to 105.1 GWh for the equivalent day last year.
The national hydro storage levels are 2539GWh, 86% of average for this time of year.
