Kiwi Travellers get a Fair Go with Origin Pacific
Origin Pacific has introduced a range of new, low cost, value fares on its regional and city routes to give travellers a real choice of airline - and when needed - a genuine ability to change their travel plans without punishing costs.
“You have to have to have strong appeal to your customers to be competitive and profitable in today’s world so Origin Pacific has introduced value, FareGo fares that even at every day prices still give real choice to travellers whether you are a budget conscious student or a business person who needs built in flexibility to change your mind at the last minute,” said Tony Marks, Chief Executive of the independent, privately owned, New Zealand airline.
The FareGo range includes Go! fares which are strictly “buy and fly” and new, value-priced JustGo fares which offer travellers a pre-paid, peace of mind GoSure option so they can change their mind about when they are going to fly – or even the name of the person travelling – up to 24 hours ahead of departure for a small fee and no call centre charges.
“FareGo fares are the start of a new era for Origin offering air travellers value, choice and flexibility, no matter how a customer books,” Mr Marks said. “Our new fares are what New Zealand travellers expect from an airline that is dedicated to serving the regional heartland and delivering competitive services and prices.
“We want to make it easy for people to choose Origin Pacific - easy on the pocket and easy on the mind too if they have to change their plans. So we’re offering a range of fares and flexible options to travellers across the spectrum.” Customers can choose from:
Go! buy and fly, super low-priced value
JustGo every day, value fares with the GoSure $10 pre-paid option so you can make changes up to 24 hours prior to departure. You can change the day, time, direction and even the name of the person who is going to take the flight. Or, for an additional $20 you can cancel up to 24 hours before your flight and, under this scheme, keep the credit for later travel within six months
EasyGo competitively priced fares that are easy to change right up to 30 minutes before departure, refundable and changeable with no quibbles and no cost to give travellers real freedom and peace of mind
Origin Pacific isn’t letting the complications of the Air New Zealand-Qantas merger proposal detract from its plans to promote the range of services and products it can offer while continuing to build its thriving freight and engineering business.
“We set our own agenda. This is New Zealand – country of Origin - and we’re committed to working with the regional heartlands to provide them with services and schedules to meet their needs and ambitions,” Mr Marks said.
“We have very competitive fares now on all the routes we fly with some very attractive advantages for customers and we’ll keep on giving travellers a fair go, delivering good value, simplicity and quality services to build our business and make our brand stand out.”
