New Appointments to DecisionMax Aim to Streamline and Bring Efficiency to Procurement Process for Large Corporates and
Government Agencies
AUCKLAND- Friday May 23 2003 - DecisionMax Software NZ, a new company that specialises in e-procurement software for
large corporates and government agencies has made three new appointments. These aim to grow the market awareness of how
to increase the business efficiencies of the tendering process through DecisionMax’ s e-procurement solution.
**Steve Macmillan is the Managing Director for DecisionMax. The company was established from a gap Macmillan identified
in the business sector’s ability to handle large scale and complex procurement projects. “Organisations are looking to
take a strategic, managed view of procurement,” says Steve. “Their focus is on cost reduction and the savings that can
be made via an effective procurement process. Our solution TenderMax is well geared to meet this need.” As an
experienced IT consultant, Steve has since 1992 also been responsible for managing MPA New Zealand Ltd, a distributor of
emerging new technologies.
**Jane McKenzie is DecisionMax’s Head Consultant. Her role encompasses working with prospective clients to show them how
electronic enabling of the tendering process through TenderMax, can bring about competitive and financial advantages.
Her role also covers the smooth implementation of TenderMax and ensuring clients have the required knowledge base to
manage it. Jane brings to the role; technical knowledge to implement TenderMax Pro, and expertise on how to effectively
create, assess and evaluate tenders for goods and services solutions. Prior to joining DecisionMax, she was with IBM for
six years, responsible for creating service solutions (financial and technical) for its outsourcing projects. Jane has
also worked for AMP New Zealand as an Infrastructure Architect.
**Robyn Oakley, as Business Development Manager, is responsible for developing DecisionMax NZ and building strong
partnerships between DecisionMax and its clients. Her focus is on understanding the challenges that organisations face
in respect to the procurement process and raising the level of the selling and buying efficiencies for clients. Over the
past five years, Robyn has been with Acer Computer Australia, where in her most recent role she was the Education
Business Development Manager for Victoria.
