Commerce Act: Update on process and timing for
Pohokura gas authorisation
The Commerce Commission will release its draft determination on the application for authorisation regarding the Pohokura gas field on Thursday 15 May. The Commission had initially intended to release the determination today.
The extension will allow further consideration of the application by Preussag, Shell and Todd for authorisation to enter into arrangements to jointly market and sell gas produced from the Pohokura field.
