Mariner7 strengthens partnership with In 2 Action
Mariner7, Carter Holt Harvey’s specialist HR business, today announced the formation of a strategic partnership with long term consulting partner In 2 Action to provide a stronger value proposition to a growing client base.
In 2 Action will be responsible for the business development, distributor relationships and operations for Mariner7’s customer base in both New Zealand and Australia and has already been successful in signing up several new clients in the last six months, including Griffins Foods and Works Infrastructure.
“In order to achieve greater market potential for our key product Talent Manager, we have been pursuing a strategic partnership opportunity with In 2 Action, a specialist consulting business based in Auckland”, says Don Matthews, Chairman of the Mariner7 Board of Directors.
“Today we can confirm that we have signed an agreement."
Talent Manager is an online performance management tool used by a number of high performance companies in New Zealand and Australia. The automatic process enables managers to review, coach, support and develop people on a monthly basis helping people to grow and develop.
“To get the most from this leading edge system, new clients require initial consulting support and start-up training in performance management and use of the system”, says Katja Carson, Chief Executive Mariner7 .
“While Mariner7’s expertise is in the intellectual property and development of the technology, In 2 Action is a business of high quality HR consultants who provide the initial training and online support and account management after the client has rolled out the system internally.
“The strategic partnership will deliver an enhanced service to existing and future customers interested in developing a high performance culture” says Brian Shaw, Director In 2 Action.
Mariner7 will continue to develop products and systems to support people success.
"We have recently installed new equipment that will treble the performance of the system and give us capacity to double our user numbers. We are also releasing new functionality in Talent Manager in May this year and have further developments planned for later this year".
