Anuva Corporation, www.anuvacorp.com, announced today the New Zealand launch of its Anuva Electronic Document Management
system. This project has been kept highly confidential for the past two years while the Anuva DM Software was written
and tested in New Zealand.
Anuva is a fully featured document management system specifically designed and priced for small to medium sized
organisations. The great majority of companies, both in NZ & overseas are small to medium sized.
Most organisations today produce thousands of documents in their computer systems and then their staff spend many hours
each year trying to locate the documents they need, especially if they are not their own. This soon adds up ... up to

Richard Burton, Managing Director of Anuva Corporation, says that Anuva's main benefits are that it imposes a

providing an easy means to retrieve documents or the information in documents from a businesses computer system.
The company has a nationwide network of Anuva Partner resellers. Pre-release market reaction has been inspiring to say
the least: "Reseller and customer response to Anuva has been fantastic," Burton says, "we showed Anuva to 14 leading
computer product resellers in New Zealand and all 14 decided to become Anuva Partners. Some customers were so keen that
they placed orders to purchase Anuva as soon as it became available".
"Historically, businesses were at first sceptical about the need for faxes and then email, both now indispensable
business tools. The same will apply to document management systems," said Burton. "Most organisations generate thousands
of word processing, spreadsheet, email and other documents every year but have no consistent way to file, manage and
locate those documents."
"If I ask an employee of a business whether they can find their colleagues' documents and can their colleagues find
theirs, the answer is almost always no. This clearly indicates a need for better systems".
The cost to the organisation in time spent trying to find documents or duplicating work already done by others is often

Burton, and his business partner, Bronwen Hughes, have designed Anuva (after 15 years experience in electronic document
management) to tightly integrate with Microsoft Office and also handle most other document types, including email,

The company is finalising its plans for rapid expansion overseas.
