Sportsbrand Media NZ Ltd – New Appointment
It’s good to be back
Australian-based Sportsbrand Media Group today announced the appointment of former All Black captain, Andrew Dalton, as the Managing Director of Sportsbrand Media New Zealand.
Sportsbrand Media Group, with offices in Auckland, Melbourne, London and Dubai has domestic stadia marketing contracts with the New Zealand Rugby Union, with the New Zealand based Super 12 teams and with the NPC. Other major long term contracts include the management and television production of the Dubai Tennis Championships on behalf of Dubai Duty Free, the television production and global marketing rights for the official Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tennis weekly and an exclusive television series for the World Olympic Association. Sportsbrand has managed for a number of years the highly successful Rugby 7’s tournament in Dubai on behalf of the international airline Emirates.
Jeff Chapman, Chairman of the Bennelong Group, stated, “We are delighted to welcome on board Andy – a man with both international business acumen and a vast knowledge of the sports industry in New Zealand and on the international stage.” Sportsbrand Media Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bennelong Group.

His proven leadership abilities, industry knowledge and hands on approach will greatly benefit both Sportsbrand and our business partners. Andy will join a great team already in place in New Zealand including former All Black flanker Alan Whetton.” Andy Dalton said, "My appointment represents an exciting opportunity to work with a well respected multinational sports company.
