Revealing the 20 Best Places to Work
10,000 employees rate their bosses and workmates
- An entire workforce is flown to Australia for a long weekend.
- A staff competition has a new car as the top prize.
- Fellow staff get to say who the company will hire next.
- A company that organises its staff into families, villages and tribes.
These are just a snapshot of how New Zealand's best employers are treating their workers. The stories are revealed in the new Unlimited Best Places to Work, New Zealand largest employee survey.
Over 10,000 employees from 120 companies rated their own workplaces to find New Zealand's 20 best places to work.
For the first time, the survey, now in its third year, also identifies the top five large, mid-sized and small workplaces.
The winners are:
Best large organisation
Flight Centre
Best mid-sized
Microsoft New Zealand
Best small organisation
Henry Schein
Best overall organisation
Henry Schien
The survey is a joint venture between Unlimited magazine, New Zealand's leading business magazine, and John Robertson & Associates, specialists in human resources and employee surveys. The survey is the largest of its kind in New Zealand and has become a key award in the business calendar.
