Fiji’s Blue Lagoon Cruises has been named runner up in the annual Conde Nast
Johansen’s “Awards of Excellence”.
Conde Nast Johansens is an internationally recognised publisher of travel guide publications aimed at the top end of the market.
The Lautoka-based Blue Lagoon Cruises was the only Pacific company to be nominated for the award, competing against 200 properties and resorts covering the entire North American, Caribbean, Mexico and Pacific markets.
Nominations for the 2002 awards were based on input from Conde Nast Johansen’s inspectors and comments received from customers who had been on a Blue Lagoon cruise.
Blue Lagoon’s director of commercial operations, Tristan Saunders, who represented the company at the awards ceremony in London, along with the UK sales manager Valerie May, said every individual in the company contributed to the success.
“To know we rated so highly by both the Conde Nast inspectors and our customers is something we are very proud of.”
Nominees for the annual awards are in the top two per cent of more than
1200 properties recommended in the prestigious guides. For more information
