Singapore Airlines’ Krisflyer Welcomes Three New Hotel Partners
KrisFlyer, Singapore Airlines’ award-winning frequent flyer programme, is pleased to welcome three new hotel partners; the Starwood Hotels and Resorts Group, Taj Resorts, Hotels and Palaces, and the Saville Hotel Group.
With more than 750 properties in over 80 countries, Starwood Hotels and Resorts Group is one of the world’s leading hotel and leisure groups, comprising world-renowned names including Sheraton Hotels and Resorts, Westin Hotels and Resorts, St Regis, The Luxury Collection, Four Points by Sheraton and W Hotels.
India’s largest and finest hotel chain, Taj Hotels, Resorts and Palaces, owns 50 hotels in India and another 12 locations stretching from the Maldives to London.
The Saville Hotel Group is the only national hotel chain in Australia that offers apartment-style living with extensive hotel services and facilities.
Mr. Huang Cheng Eng, Singapore Airlines Executive Vice President – Marketing and the Regions, said these hotel chains add considerable value to KrisFlyer’s network of partners.
“With Starwood, Taj and Seville, we now have one of the most comprehensive hotel partner listings that any frequent flyer programme can offer, part of a total listing of nearly 70 partner brands. We aim to continue forming new KrisFlyer partnerships, to further enhance the value offered to KrisFlyer members.”
To celebrate their partnership with Krisflyer, all three hotel groups have a range of special offers exclusive to KrisFlyer members, including bonus miles, extra nights’ accommodation, and even free trips.
KrisFlyer was recently voted ‘Best Frequent Flyer Programme’ by Business Traveller Asia Pacific and ‘Most Popular Airline Frequent Flyer Programme’ in the TIME Readers’ Travel Choice Awards 2002.
With the addition of the Starwood, Taj and Seville, KrisFlyer now boasts 69 partners around the world, ranging from airlines, hotels and a travel agency to credit cards, an insurance company and a telecommunications provider.
KrisFlyer recently welcomed Emirates as a new airline partner, and next year will welcome Spanair and LOT Polish Airlines, when they join Star Alliance.
Through Singapore Airlines’ international network, KrisFlyer now connects members to global airline partners serving 810 destinations worldwide. KrisFlyer miles can be redeemed on free flights, upgrades or companion tickets.
