Appointment Of New Executive Director For Trade Liberalisation Network Inc
The Chairman of the Trade Liberalisation Network, Brian Lynch, has announced the appointment of Ms Suse Reynolds as
Executive Director. Ms Reynolds succeeds Stephen Jacobi who has become chief executive of the Forest Industries Council.
Ms Reynolds has a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration degree, and a Bachelor of Law with honours majoring in
international trade law. She joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in 1992 as an advisor on international
trade law; was seconded to the parliamentary office of former Deputy Prime Minister Don McKinnon from 1994 to 1997;and
from 1997 to 2000 held a senior diplomatic post at the New Zealand High Commission, London, specializing in economic and
trade work.

Mr Lynch.” Suse combines an impressive practical background in international trade forums with excellent communication
skills. She is very familiar with the New Zealand business perspective on trade matters. The Board and I are confident
Suse is admirably qualified to maintain TLNs high profile on trade reform issues. She will bring fresh energy and
original ideas to the public debate in New Zealand of the value to this country of an open, rules-based global trading
system.”
