General Manager Appointed To Television Commercial Approvals Bureau (Tvcab)
Richard Prosser has been appointed as General Manager of the Television Commercial Approvals Bureau.
Lauren James, Chairman of the TVCAB said that Mr Prosser's extensive experience in working with advertising codes from
his position at TVNZ as Advertising Services Manager and the knowledge he has gained as a sitting member of the
Advertising Standards Complaints Board will be invaluable in the new role.
"Richard has always provided an excellent source of back up for the Television Commercial Approvals Bureau Board,
relieving former General Manager Paul Timmins whilst he has been on overseas business or leave. He possesses a sound
working knowledge of Television Commercial Approvals Bureau client needs, processes and philosophies.
"TVNZ, CanWest and Prime are delighted to see such depth of experience brought to the TVCAB with Richard's appointment.
We are confident that the TVCAB's critical function of helping the advertising community to work with television and the
advertising codes is in a safe pair of hands," said Ms James.
Mr Prosser's role as General Manager of the TVCAB commences on 18 November 2002.
