Frucor Beverages Makes Three Key Marketing Appointments
Following sustained growtha long period of growth, Frucor Beverages, which was acquired by French multi-national, Danone earlier this year, has made three significant senior marketing appointments to guarantee continued and drive the ongoing expansion of Frucor’s business in NZ and Australia. successful expansion and development of the New Zealand and Australian markets.
Frucor Australia will now have its own dedicated marketing manager based in Sydney and that position, combined with the two appointments in New Zealand, will ensure trans-Tasman coordination and consistency across the group.
In NZ, Evangelia Henderson, previously General Manager - Marketing, has been promoted to the new position of Group General Manager – Marketing. Andrew Fraser, formerly Strategic Development Manager, takeshas also been promoted to on the role of General Manager – Marketing New Zealand. Reflective of rapid growth, Frucor Australia will now have a dedicated National Marketing Manager with the appointment in Sydney of Justine Cotter. and Justine Cotter has been appointed Marketing Manager for Frucor Australia.
Evangelia Henderson has been with Frucor eight years. She was previously with Reckitt and Colman in the UK as Marketing Manager of one of their pharmaceutical product groups and before that was in South Africa, in a variety of marketing roles with Reckitt-Colman and Beecham.
Evangelia’s new role has been created because of the growing need for trans-Tasman coordination both trans Tasman and across the Danone group internationally. and to ensure consistency across the group She will be responsible for exploring synergistic opportunities with Danone and co-ordinating Australasian marketing strategies with both Andrew and Justine. the development of existing brands and managing the launch of new products trans-Tasman.
Andrew Fraser started with the company in 1995 as a Senior Brand Manager and as Group Product Manager, was responsible for the launch of market leading energy drink “V” in 1997. Since then Andrew has been instrumental in the international rollout of “V” and the expansion of Frucor’s business in Australia. Andrew will now be responsible for all developing marketing strategies and initiatives in New Zealand.
Formerly with Frucor’s sister company Griffins, Justine Cotter has worked for Nestlé and NZ Dairy Foods. She will be responsible for managing the Australian marketing team and driving growth strategies behind energy drink V, Mizone Sportswater and new product development.
