NZ Unionists Join US Wharf Workers’ Picket
A delegation of New Zealand unionists leave on Sunday, 6 October to lend support to locked out wharf workers on the American West Coast.
The NZ delegation includes Trevor Hanson, general secretary of the New Zealand Waterfront Workers Union, and members of New Zealand’s Seafarers Union.
They are joining representatives of the Maritime Union of Australia and the Australian miners’ union and other international union representatives.
