BOISE OFFICE SOLUTIONS NOW COMPRISES FOUR LEADING BRANDS
Company is New Zealand’s biggest office products supplier
Boise Office Solutions is the new name of the largest provider of office products in New Zealand.
Boise Office Solutions is the office products division of Boise Cascade Corporation. The new name encompasses four of
New Zealand’s leading brands – Whitcoulls Office Products, OTC Workplace Partners, Blue Star Office Products and
Hollands Office Furniture. The new name change is effective immediately.
“Since Boise acquired these leading brands about two years ago we’ve been working to be the best distributor to the
office,” said General Manager John Wafer. “Boise has more than 40% of the office products market in New Zealand and is
also Australasia’s leader in the office products sector.”
Boise’s customer base ranges from small home offices to large corporate and government organisations.
The company employs about 1,000 New Zealanders and processes more than 2 million orders for office supplies a year –
approximately 8,000 orders every business day.
Boise offers one of the industry’s most comprehensive online ordering solutions. The company receives more than $25
million a year in orders through its webstores.
“Our move to one brand will reduce confusion,” says Mr Wafer. “Our job is to make our customers’ job easier and one of
the ways we can do this is to provide customers with the benefit of dealing with one supplier.”
