NZ Internet Success Sold To USA Company In **Multi-Million Dollar Deal**.
Kakama, a Public Relations and Marketing consultancy, is very pleased to announce today that it has successfully facilitated the sale of BulletProof Software's assets to DigitalCandle, Inc. a large USA-based software company.
This is the latest in a series of successes generated for its star client by Kakama, that for 3 years has provided full marketing services to BulletProof Software. BulletProof Software is best known as the (New Zealand) maker of the world renowned BulletProof FTP client used by millions around the world since its launch in 1997. The new owner of the BulletProof range of products and brand name, a large software company based in Bellevue Washington, brings to the established and highly profitable BulletProof brand extended opportunities in distribution and marketing that are sure to see it go from strength to strength.
Kakama has been instrumental in developing powerful relationships and strategies for BulletProof for several years that have culminated in this very profitable buy out. These successes have included large increases in revenue through innovative marketing and partnerships which have added to the BulletProof product range through acquisitions. The BulletProof brand range have their software products downloaded several million times a year, selling to hundreds of thousands of end-users since their inception and enjoying seven figure profits in the last financial year.
Thomas Scovell, former Marketing Manager for BulletProof (and principal consultant at Kakama) has been appointed Vice President of Marketing for DigitalCandle and will extend his responsibilities to market their range of products and services world wide. His firm will also continue offering marketing and PR services to other New Zealand Information Technology companies who wish to enjoy the success BulletProof Software have had under Kakama's guidance.
