New Dairy Farmers Of NZ Chair

Kevin Wooding was elected Chairman of Dairy Farmers of New Zealand (DFNZ) at the council's annual conference in Wellington yesterday. Mr Wooding a Waikato dairy farmer takes over the position from Charlie Pedersen who has completed his three-year term.
"I hope to build on the fine work of my predecessor and help progress the dairy industry to greater heights, said Mr Wooding. "One of my aims is to increase the number of dairy farmers who are members of DFNZ so we are better able to address their concerns.
David Hopkins, Wanganui and Frank Brenmuhl, West Coast have been confirmed as Vice Chairmen. Mr Hopkins is the sitting Vice Chair and Mr Brenmuhl is currently a DFNZ executive member.
Sitting executive member Richard Myers, Waikato is joined by Eliot Cooper, Manawatu - Rangitikei.
