2002 Annual Grains Council Conference

The 2002 Annual Grains Council Conference will be held on 19 and 20 June at the Sudima Hotel Grand Chancellor at Christchurch Airport.
The Conference incorporates the United Wheatgrowers AGM, the Herbage Seedgrowers Subsection AGM, and the Maize Growers Committee AGM.
Guest speakers including Dr Bill Seglar, Global Nutritional Sciences Manager, Pioneer Hi-Bred International discussing Trends in forage quality and harvest management of maize silage and Dave Miller, Forage Specialist, Pioneer Brand Products, speaking on Opportunities for supplementary feeds, will complement Day one's herbage industry focus.
Clayton Cosgrove, MP will open an industry forum on day two, which includes John Lay, Director Applied Management, Lincoln University and Ian Yule; NZ Centre for Precision Agriculture.
