SHELL WILL NOT BE BEATEN ON PRICE - PRICE COMES DOWN AGAIN AT SHELL STATIONS NATIONWIDE
Shell New Zealand has today reduced the price of its petrol a further two cents, saying that it will not be beaten on price, anywhere, or at any time.
"Earlier today we reduced the price of petrol and diesel by 2 cents a litre, saying we are committed to bringing New Zealanders the lowest possible fuel prices.
"For that reason, Shell is taking another two cents off the price of petrol with immediate affect, to ensure we are living up to that commitment to our customers," Retail Manager Bruce Emson said today.
The price of petrol will fall again today by another two cents, to 102.9 cents per litre for 91 octane, 107.9 cents per litre for 96 octane, with diesel remaining at 63.9 cents per litre.
"Shell has made a commitment to bring the most competitive prices we are able to, and today's further reduction is proof that we mean what we say," Mr Emson said.
