The Better NZ Foundation is organising a Conference and Expo at Alexandra Park in Auckland on 10 May 2002. The objective is to link the many Asian business owners and investors who now reside in New Zealand to local exporters and businesses.
During the last two years more than 8000 Chinese-speaking business migrants settled in New Zealand. These immigrants brought billions of dollars and valuable connections and experiences in the Asian region.
This event will help NZ businesses to utilise this huge and almost untouched resources. It will be an excellent venue to meet potential distributors, agents, representatives and investors.
Interest has been strong with around 200 Chinese-speaking business people already booked. Many more visitors are expected to view the Expo which will be set up outside the main conference area.
Comments made by those contacted indicate they are eagerly looking for business investment opportunities in NZ as well as quality NZ products for the Asian market.
