Payout Forecast For 2001/2 Season As At 3 April

Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd says the most likely final payout for supplying shareholders for the 2001/2 season, which ends on 31 May, remains unchanged at NZ$5.30 per kilogram of milksolids, less three cents for industry good activities.
This forecast has as much downside as upside.
Shareholders will be advised of this formally in the April edition of their company newsletter, Farmlink.
It is company policy to provide shareholders with regular forecasts of the most likely payout for the season.
The final payout will be paid in August.
The advance rate for April is NZ$4.15 per kilogram of milksolids, up from the March advance rate of NZ$3.90.
