On the back of initial master franchise sales, Green Acres Trade Services has signed a preferred supplier agreement with
New Zealand’s leading trade services wholesaler, MasterTrade Ltd (MasterTrade).
The three year agreement will see Green Acres Trade Services work closely with MasterTrade to provide a full range of
products - including electrical, plumbing and support services - for its customers nationwide.
Logan Sears, Executive Director of Green Acres Trade Services, says that the agreement signifies an important new
relationship for both companies. “Continued growth of business created an opportunity to work closely with a leading
trade services supplier - such as MasterTrade - which would enhance our capabilities and strengthen the position of both
companies.
“This arrangement will enable Green Acres Trade Services to have access to a range of competitively priced quality trade
product and services, which will further enable our franchisees to provide a broader product offering tailored to home
owners’ preferences.”
According to MasterTrade’s Business Development Manager, Roger Sauvarin, the critical factor that led to the agreement
was the fit between the two companies.

The agreement will provide higher visibility and brand recognition for MasterTrade’s electrical and plumbing products
due to Green Acres Trade Services franchisees ability to offer products and services to its customer base.

specialist in total supply solutions, we are able to reduce the total cost of ownership and improve supply chain
efficiency for companies such as Green Acres Trade Services,” adds Sauvarin. “Via our extensive branch network
throughout the country, they will be able to take advantage of MasterTrade’s knowledge and experience in selling trade
service products to a wide range of clients.”

According to Sears, the agreement has far reaching implications for the wholesale trade services market in New Zealand.
