Ryman Opens New Retirement Village In Hamilton

Leading retirement village developer and operator Ryman Healthcare has announced the opening of its new retirement village complex in Hamilton.
The Hilda Ross Retirement Village is a comprehensive retirement village, comprising a resthome, serviced apartments and studios units, independent townhouses and community facilities. The community facilities will include a community centre, indoor swimming pool and bowling green.
The village is named after the well known Hamilton identity, Dame Hilda Ross, who founded the Waikato Health Camp movement and represented the community in local body politics. Dame Hilda was elected a Member of Parliament in 1945 and was appointed Minister for the Welfare of Women & Chidren.
Demand for the facilities at the village to date has been very strong.
