Lion Nathan To Partner With TCNZA For Trans-Tasman Communications
TCNZ Australia (TCNZA) has been chosen as telecommunications partner to Australasian liquor group Lion Nathan in an
exclusive multi-million dollar deal to provide Lion Nathan with all its trans-Tasman voice, data and mobile
telecommunications services.
TCNZA Group General Manager Karyn Devonshire said TCNZA is now establishing a strong presence in the ‘Top 100’ corporate
telecommunications and online market in Australia.
“The letter of intent with Lion Nathan builds on our recent win with transport & logistics company, Toll Holdings,” she said.
Lion Nathan’s Australian-based Chief Information Officer, Darryl Warren said TCNZA’s flexibility and responsiveness was
key to the Telecom New Zealand group winning this contract.
“With TCNZA, Lion Nathan has a trans-Tasman business partner that has the capability to meet our dynamic
telecommunications needs and grow with us.”
Ms Devonshire said TCNZA’s unique business model for the Australian market is paying off.
“We offer a single point of accountability while not being tied to any one vendor. That means when a company like Lion
Nathan grows we have the freedom to go in and develop new telecommunications systems which integrate the new business.
“TCNZA can also leverage the TCNZ Group’s trans-Tasman strength. When you add responsiveness and flexibility to that
mix, you have a winning formula.”
