There was heavy trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 4546 futures and 100 options contracts traded with a face value of NZ$2.33 billion.
The Mar-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 5 points at 9481 (5.19%) and the June-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 8 points at 9440 (5.60%). The Sept-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 8 points at 9401 (5.99%) and the Dec-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 10 points at 9365 (6.35%).
The Mar-02 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 17 points at 9362 (6.38%) and the Mar-02 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 18 at 9308 (6.92%).
The Mar-02 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled up 4 points at 931.
